You can usually identify what element something is by its colors, but there are icons used in the game to reinforce this theme.

What is Elemental Advantage?

Elemental advantage is a phenomenon that occurs when a player or opponent has 2 or more heroes of the same element on their team. Their attack power will be increased and overall your team will be strengthened. If you are able to have three heroes of the same element on your team, you will deal even greater damage and have a better chance against the enemy. Similarly, if the enemy has 2 or more attackers of the same element, they will be stronger. Beware of this!
