NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP GAME - THE KEYS: I cant wait for the game tonight and what should be an outstanding finish to what has been an entertaining NCAA Tournament to say the least. Panthers Jerseys China . You can catch all of the action live tonight at 8:30pm et/5:30pm pt on TSN with the pre-game show before the 9:10pm et/6:10pm pt tip-off. Here are 3 Keys for each team. Enjoy! UCONN KEYS: 1. DOMINATE THE GUARD PLAY: Shabazz Napier and Ryan Boatright have been terrific so far in the tournament. Their ability to take you out of your comfort level with their tenacious defense and their ability to create and make their own shots is big. They are more experienced and, in my opinion, as talented, if not more talented, than the Harrison twins - they must dominate this match-up and frustrate the young guards. 2. REBOUNDING: Kentucky is +9 per game in the Tournament on the boards. That is a huge disparity and a big part of Kentuckys game is the second or third shot per offensive trip. UConn must neutralize this or theyll be in trouble. This is not one of UConns strengths. but theyve got to find a way to win the 50/50 battles and be physical. With the Wildcats, UConn is giving up lots of size inside. 3. DeANDRE DANIELS: After averaging 20 points and nine boards in his last three games, Daniels has to continue to be that versatilebig man for the Huskies inside and use his shot-making ability while facing the basket. Hes a tough cover and his ability to make the three-ball and lure you away from the hoop can take the Kentucky big out of their comfort zone a bit. They did a wonderful job stopping Wisconsins big man, Frank Kaminsky, with lots of attention. Daniels has to pick his spots, yet has to assert his game early and establish the fact that hes a guy getting lots of touches and attract the double team to open things up for teammates. KENTUCKY KEYS: 1. LATE SHOT CLOCK & GAME CLOCK SITUATIONS: The Wildcats have really impressed me with their discipline and poise in the tight situations. Decision-making with the ball and the types of plays and shots theyve been getting have been much improved over the early part of the season. Theyve been excellent at being organized and fundamentally sound on defence with a great attention to detail as the game progresses. They must continue to be sound on both sides of the ball. 2. TURNOVER MARGIN: Take care of the rock. Thats what it comes down to. Kentucky has been really steady in this regard and helped prevent run outs against their defence. They are a very good half-court defensive team that has the quickness, athleticism, size and length to frustrate opponents. You get folks into that type of game and then grind them. UConns guards want to run and create chances in open space. The fewer turnovers, the more the style of play favours you. 3. MARCUS LEE / JULIUS RANDLE / JAMES YOUNG: Energy, offensive rebounds, blocks, deflections, post scoring effort plays and paint domination are major areas that these, among many of the Kentucky young front court players, can get the upper hand over the Huskies. Beat them to the punch and be the better front court. Florida Panthers Store .J. -- The New York Jets have promoted Tony Sparano Jr. Panthers Jerseys 2021 .Y. - OK, it is done.BARCELONA, Spain -- Diego Costa was carried off with a bloody leg after scoring Atletico Madrids second goal in a 2-0 win at 10-man Getafe on Sunday, although the team said its star striker escaped without a serious injury. Atletico extended its Spanish league lead to three points with five rounds to play as it closes in on what would be its first league title in 18 years. Costa slammed into the post while poking in his 26th goal of the season in the 84th minute, opening a cut on his left shin and requiring the stadiums medical crew to carry him off the pitch while he covered his face and muffled his screams. While his teammates looked distraught as he writhed on the pitch, Atletico said less than 10 minutes after the match on Twitter that "luckily Diego Costa only has a cut after hitting the post." "Hes fine, calm, a cut doesnt do any more harm," Atletico coach Diego Simeone said about his leading scorer. "We now have five games left, and we have to play each one like it was a final." Despite the scare, Atletico took advantage of Barcelonas loss on Saturday to open up a three point lead over Real Madrid with Barcelona another point behind. Defender Diego Godin gave Atletico the lead in the 40th before Getafes Alexis Ruano was dismissed with a red card in the 66th for pulling Miranda down in the area, with goalkeeper Jordi Codina saving Diego Costas penalty and Raul Garcias follow-up try. Atletico then applied the same stout defence that it used to eliminate Barcelona from the Champions League this week to keep Getafe in the relegation zone. "This was a tough rival to beat because a lot was on the line," Godin said. "(And) the victory is a bitter one for what happened to Diego Costa." Costa was back in Atleticos starting 11 having recovered from a right thigh injury that sidelined him for two games. The Brazilian-born player is having a breakout season that has earned him a spot on Vicente del Bosques squad for Spain in this summers World Cup. He showed no signs of slowing down as he deployed the same physical style of play that has made him the revelation of the league this season, earning three fouls and two yellow cards for Getafes defenders in the first half hour. And after Codina blocked his penalty kick, Costa kept hustling and got his chance to pull to within two goals of league leader Cristiano Ronaldo when he slid to meet Adrian Lopezs cross. The goal came at a high price, with his cries heard across the pitch at Alonso Perez Coliseum following his brutal collision with the upright. Godin put Atletico in front when he rose up over his marker to guide in Juanfran Torres cross with a well-placed header over Codina, who was caught off his line and yet nowhere near Godin. Also on Sunday, forward Kevin Gameiro scored twice to help Sevilla win a bad-tempered derby at 10-man Real Betis 2-0 and stay in the hunt for Spains final Champions League berth. Gameiro converted a penalty in the 30th after Juan Carlos Perez was sent off for fouling Carlos Bacca. Gameiro added another goal in the 82nd. Sevillas victory moved it to within three points of fourth-place Athletic Bilbao before the Basque side hosts Malaga on Monday. Unai Emerys Sevilla continues to have a strong second half of the season with eight wins in the last nine rounds as it aims for a return to Europes top-tier competition. It advanced to the semifinals of the Europa League against Valencia after eliminating FC Porto earlier this week. "We are only thinking about (our next game against) Granada, because we dont depend on ourselves," Emery said. "The best part of the season is still to come. If we work hard we will enjoy it." The loss left Betis languishing in last place, some 10 points from safety with five rounds to go. Valencia goalkeeper Vicente Guaita saved a penalty to ensure a 2-1 win at home over Elche. Pablo Piatti and Dani Parejo scored for Valencia with Ferran "Coro" Corominas getting Elches goal. Espanyol defender Diego Colotto scored two minutes from time to salvage a 2-2 draw at home with Rayo Vallecano. Christian Stuani opened for Espanyol before Iago Falque and Joaquin Larrivey scored for Rayo. ' ' '
